As an investor, AMD boys analyze the technicals and the fundamentals so well, I applaud them. But they don't understand the macro at all. They won't even listen. It's impossible to explain to AMD investors that Nvidia only makes around 13% of their revenue from gaming. Nvidia is not a gaming/consumer company at all. Nvidia sells to enterprise. And I just can't get AMD investors to understand that.

You are overlooking an important factor here, namely why people pay attention to the power consumption of their CPU under load. Because Intel educated them that way, 12 years ago they always said that the FX8150 consumes too much, better take the 2500K/2600K. Now it's the other way around and suddenly the power consumption doesn't matter? That's all Intel's fault.

The biggest issue with games is stutters. You have older games running at 20 to 30 fps that feel better than stutters from modern pc games. Fps counters don't mean everything.

It's completely unfair that you hide problems as someone who has taken on the role of a modern journalist. Talk about them and push AMD to improve! Investigate, test, and gather statistics. Personally, I rarely had issues with my gaming PC's RX 5700 XT, which turned out to be due to faulty DDR4 memory. Since then, I’ve had no problems with the RX 6700 XT and RX 7800 XT. But that doesn’t mean you should keep issues secret from us. Problems won't be solved if they're kept hidden.

i can feel it i am stuck with a 6900xt had issues with drivers and now i need to run it with basic drivers to make it work and everytime on DS i talk about amd gpus are kinda shit and their drivers are wonky i get called a idiot and it was literally when amd released their revenue for Q1 2024 when it dropped literally 50%

I'm not an AMD fanboy but I always pick what suits me best, so had Radeon and Geforce cards over the years, never had issues with neither of them, so I just pick the better deal. Personally I like Adrenalin software much better than the GeForce Experience. Currently I have a Gigabyte RX 7800 XT 16GB and have no issues at all. It has been rock solid stable, cool and fast.

Amd is building a cpu next generation to fix the infinity fabric problem. You are just a hater. I hate big little architecture with a passion. All I want is uniform consistent cores on a monolithic chip with all the X86 instructions going back to 1975 so all legacy programs run flawlessly without issues. Thats it. I want nothing else other than those cores, on a more advanced node. Make them wider with more IPC or space out the transistors for higher clocks and stack more cache but only boost performance that way. No multi architecture frankenchips, no chiplets/tiles and never EVER remove instruction sets. all of that shit is cancer and I wont buy it.

intels interconnect is basically just a 22nm die that all the other dies stack on top of would be so easy to smash 1024mb of L4 cache in that base die and call it a day

I've also noticed my 5950X often leads to OS corruption over time. I thought it was possibly the memory OC, but I've run so much memory testing to ensure it's stable and I've seen it happen with XMP RAM. Could be the CPU OC? But even when I lowered it to normal speed, it still happens. I'm always periodically doing sfc scans and DISM commands to repair my OS like every few months Lol. That type of thing never happened with my old Intel systems. But I don't bring it up for this same reason described in this clip. Fanboys go nuts over the Ryzen Hype train to this day.

I actually think most of Intel problems comes from the last CEO not investing enough in the fabs. I've heard that some of the delays were fix by throwing money at the problems. The last CEO is known for spending less on new products and more payouts to the investors. Considering a node traditionally had 7-10years lead tIme this atleast makes sense to me. Pat beeing an engineer I think he's the right man for the job. No one in Intel can bullshit him around with his technical background. I just hope Pat has enough ambition and can get the Intel divisions to work faster to keep up with the competition. I looked through the Intel vids on p and e cores just now and they said e cores was up to 40% faster than the ones used in Raptor lake desktop. Also the out of order function seems to have gotten a lot better. How this will affect my Pubg gaming is hard to say^^.
